Breakthrough to Nursing - Ashley Herzog
Hello, I am Ashley Herzog. I grew up in Billings and moved down to Miles City about two years ago. I am currently attending Miles Community College to obtain my Associates of Science in Nursing. I will be graduating in May of 2016. Nursing is my passion and I enjoy sharing it with other people. Anyone that is going through nursing school will tell you it is challenging. But anyone that has gone through nursing school will tell you it’s worth it. I commend the men and women who pursue nursing as their career choice. It is such an honor to be in the position a nurse finds themselves on a daily basis. I believe in the people healing people as being united and would like to help inspire and unite those who want to be the change in healthcare.

Community Health Director - Arielle Richard
My name is Arielle Richard, and I am one of the new Directors of Community Health for MSNA! As a new representative, I plan to work to facilitate community health in Great Falls and the other campus locations here in Montana to encourage a healthy lifestyle in our community and fundraise for for our group to attend the NSNA Conference this year. I hope to organize some MSNA 5K runs, and possibly hold a Community Health Awareness class in each town where students can present important health information to encourage education, awareness, and preventative healthcare.
A little bit about me - I graduated from Montana State with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2014, and I am currently in the ABSN accelerated nursing program. I am dedicated to pursuing my education in the medical field because I strongly value health, fitness, and nutrition. I enjoy spending time outdoors doing mostly anything - skiing, fly fishing, hiking/camping are a few of my favorites; I also enjoy spending time with my dogs and family!

Membership Director - Amanda Roberts
Hi! My name is Amanda Roberts. I hail from Helena, MT and am a senior BSN student at Carroll College. Go Saints! Being able to grow and learn in such a beautiful place has been such a blessing. A little bit about me: I’ve been the co-captain of the golf team at Carroll and also love to hike, watch sports, craft, and learn! I decided to step out of my comfort zone and join the MSNA board to make a difference in my community and the great state of Montana. I’ve always wanted to hold a leadership position but never had the guts or thought I had the time to do so. I have become so passionate about nursing and what the profession stands for through my time in school, and I can’t wait to relay my passion into action as a board member! As the Membership Director, I hope to increase membership while informing members and future members the opportunities and benefits of being part of such a great organization. It is an honor to be a part of this team and I am so excited to meet new people through this opportunity! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like any information!

Historian Director - Asher Hinrichs
My name is Asher Hinrichs. I am from Bozeman, MT and I am now pursuing upper division nursing courses in Great Falls. I fell into nursing quite accidentally after taking a position at an assisted living home. Four years later and I am now married to the girl who trained me and sure beyond a shadow of a doubt that I want to become a nurse! My particular interests include Gerontology and Mental Health nursing. As Historian, I hope to do my part to expand MSNA and to get us more involved in charitable and community health projects throughout the state.
